Our Wax Dipped Double Deep Single Medium 10 Frame Hive is fully assembled and ready for use. All woodenware components are assembled with care and wood glue and then dipped in 300 degree wax for 10 minutes to drive out moisture and impregnate the wood to preserve it.
Reversible Bottom Board—3/4” entrance or 3/8” entrance
Entrance Reducer—1” opening or 3” opening
Brood Boxes—Two 10 frame 9 5/8” deep hive bodies, one 6 5/8” medium super
Frames and Foundations—Twenty Premier Bee Products deep frames and foundations, ten Premier Bee Products deep frames and foundations
Inner Cover—1/4” plywood with notched pine rim, drilled with 71mm hole for regular mouth jar feeders
Telescoping Lid—2” pine rim, rabbeted 1/4” plywood, aluminum cover
Ready to Go—Woodenware is all assembled and ready to use, wax dipped for many years of service.
