10 frame insulated telescoping lid constructed of 3/4” select pine, 1/4” plywood and PVC coated aluminum cover. Pine rim is assembled with glue and staples, plywood glued in a rabbet, 1” foam insulation board above the plywood and precision-bent aluminum cover is secured over the top with stainless steel staples. We believe it is a good idea to insulate the lids of your hives for overwintering and insulation can also help your bees regulate the temperature easier year around, making this a great 4 seasons telescoping cover.
