Occasionally bees will swarm to locations high in trees and be very difficult to reach via ladder without one of these swarm catchers. You can attach it to an extendable pole of your choosing and then use the swarm catcher to jostle the branch they are on and then they fall into the bag and can be easily lowered to the ground. This is an item you don't need very often but when you do need it you will be thankful you have one.
