Upgrade your apiary with our premium wax dipped assembled 5 frame 9 5/8" hive body. Each pine hive body is crafted with precision care, including our routed frame rest and full top joint, assembled with Titebond III and galvanized 16ga staples, and then dipped in  boiling wax for 10 minutes. This special wax dipping process drives moisture out of the wood and impregnates the wood with wax, providing a long-lasting wood preservative and finish that repels water for many years to come. That means this equipment is ready to use and does not need to be painted, saving valuable time and energy.
